Coming to Visit

We are a wholesale nursery only and are not open to the public, however visiting is encouraged. Please call to schedule an appointment to ensure we are available to give you our undivided attention; because there is no comparison to actually seeing The Ivy Farm!

Directions

Our nursery is located on the Eastern Shore of Virginia just east of the town of Melfa. (For those of you who don’t know where the Eastern Shore is, we are about 1 hour south of Salisbury, MD and 1 ½ hours north of Norfolk, VA).

Coming from the North

Drive south on Rt. 13 to Onley, VA. At the stoplight with the Royal Farms on the right and a CVS on the left, turn left (East) on Rt 179. In about 1/2 mile you will come to a stop light – at this intersection Rt 179 changes to Rt 789. Continue straight on Rt 789 for about 3 miles or so until the road ends in a T at a stop sign. Turn right on Route 605 –Drummondtown Rd. Take the first left onto Rt 644 – Rose Cottage Rd. Don’t miss it –the road sign is on the right hand side instead of the left where you will turn. The nursery is 2/3 of a mile down on the left. Visitors gate 2, Deliveries gate 3.

Coming from the South

Cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel heading North on Rt 13 to Keller, VA. Look for large electronic sign and turn right at the stoplight which is Wachapreague Rd-Rte. 180. (It should take 45 to 60 minutes to get to this turn). Go about 3.5 miles and turn left on to Rt 605- Drummondtown Rd. Drive 3 miles and turn right onto Rt 644 -Rose Cottage Rd. Don’t miss it - the road sign is on the left but you will turn right. The nursery is 2/3 of a mile down on the right. Visitors gate 2, Deliveries gate 3.
